How a quote works
From the first message to handover, here are the steps. I do not publish prices: the cost depends on the size and shape of the piece, the fabric, the windows and the fittings.
First contact
Write to me with the form on this site, or by e-mail. Tell me about your boat, its port and your project. To save time, fill in my measuring sheet and attach photos.
Measuring on board
We agree an appointment at the port of Saint-Jean-de-Losne. The boat must be accessible and clear of anything lying around (bikes, fenders, etc.). I take the measurements and, for complex shapes, I draw a template.
Detailed quote
I give you in writing a description of the work, the materials proposed (fabric, colour, fittings), the price, any travel costs and indicative lead times. It is valid for 3 months unless stated otherwise.
Agreement and booking
You sign the quote marked “Bon pour accord” (agreed). A booking deposit secures your slot in my diary. Until it is paid, you can cancel at no cost.
Making and fitting
Dates are set by mutual agreement. I make the piece in the workshop, then fit and adjust it on the boat. Any change requested along the way is covered by a written amendment.
Handover
We check the piece together and sign a handover report.
Full conditions are in the terms of sale (in French).
